Washing soda (sodium carbonate) is a general water softener, degreaser, soak and cleaner. It is a highly alkaline absorbent powder, which is well soluble in hot water, a few amount is sufficient. It is manufactured without any by-products that could harm the environment and it biodegrades after use.
Washing soda is suitable for both machine and hand washing, especially for white clothes. It can be used on its own or mixed with washing nuts, or even with the usual washing powder, of which less is needed. The washing soda is an excellent degreaser and can be used as a general cleaner.
